Ah, it just occurred to me ,,, did you shoot the two flowers with a lens different from the field and the house in the mountains? That could still be the trouble if you did. Good lens on one set of images, weaker one on the other set,

The flowers are my macro lens and the other stuff was a zoom.
I’m focus-stacking everything with the macro. Could that be it?
