Really nice shot, Sam. But … while the color combination is interesting, the smeariness of the red is incredibly distracting in a negative way. That’s the only concern I have with this very interesting shot that really evoked the feel of the era. Great POV.

Yeah, Pecaut has the same issue in a comment on FB. I shot with the aperture wide open with an eye on getting a nice focus on the foreground element, but it doesn’t work when the background element is that neon. I need to go back and shoot it with the f-stop at 22 and make sure I get a crisper take on the light.
