Took the Bolder Boulder shot and cut out the center where the runners were. Scaled the remaining pieces inward horizontally. Then selected that little polygon section, which was an artifact of the original, and strengthened it with a bi-color filter. Finished it all with a film effects filter.
Somewhere along the way this stopped being a photo and started being a work of abstract graphic art, I suppose.
