  1. A technical note: You are somehow handling the edges (where, for example, a straight line of the ornament cuts through the sky or other background element) with keen intent. I end up with a fuzzy aberration (chromatic?) when I deal with sharp edges against bokeh. (A symptom of oversharpening, methinks.) This is excellent work well composed.

    • Hmmm. Not sure what I’m doing. These were all (obviously) low f-stop and tightly focused, and that’s about it. You don’t really deal with hard metallic edges like I do, but your shots demonstrate the same kind of crispness you’re talking about here.
