Sam – I opened the site and your image took my breath away. It appeals to my sense of space, order, pattern and placement. How were you positioned to this shot? on the ground?

I was as low on the sidewalk out front as I could get, basically. Doing that low angle thing that I love so much.

I’m a little surprised at the reaction here. I saw this as sort of a pedestrian throwaway shot – good practice, but not much else. That people would actually like it never occurred to me.
