I spent last week in Seattle doing some networking. While there, I stayed with some friends who have a gorgeous house overlooking Lake Washington. I decided to try my hand at a bit of design shooting, since some of the colors and textures were so nice. This is some tiling in the kitchen.

Has just the right amount of “pop” to it. Not too over the top, and still looks elegant, which I think is hard to do with shiny stuff.
