I got off the trail just a little for this shot at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Not part of the show, but mesmerizing nonetheless….

I think this is the best of the series, Sam.

Thanks. I’m just glad I didn’t fall into the water getting the shot.

Night shots are difficult. I’ve never mastered them. Well done, sir.

Thanks, guys. There’s something very Rivendell about the Botanic Gardens at night. I’m grateful to my 5280LM colleagues for their advice on how to best capture things in the dark. My early trips out to take night shots were just terrible – I had zero clue what I was doing. Which was frustrating, because night shots are something I really want to be able to do better.
I wonder how long it’s going to take the rest of you guys to realize that the main reason I wanted to start this site was so that I could more easily pimp all my expert shooter friends for advice? 🙂
