A few months ago I posted a shot I took in the stairwell at the Tattered Cover Bookstore in lower downtown Denver. I loved the concept, but wasn’t happy with how I framed it (or, for that matter, the color balance). So last week I went back to see if I could get it right. Much better this time.
There are just all kinds of neat places to sit and read at the Tattered Cover. This, by the way, is directly across from the theater seats I posted a few days back, so it has a cool view, as well.
Two more takes on the shot from yesterday – one color and one black and white. Tighter crop = more abstract, I guess.
I love the light fixtures at the Tattered Cover, but they need to replace a few bulbs here….
