It was a pretty afternoon here in Seattle.

Space Needle: Polaroid

As I improve and learn new things I sometimes come back to shots to reprocess and see if I can do better with my new knowledge in hand. I’m revisiting this one, taken last month, for a couple reasons. First, a friend here really liked a process I used on another shot, and second, I got a tutorial this morning from our boy Greg Stene that I thought might help me fix something about the original take. So here we go.

A workbook/scouting mission shot. I look forward to going back up there and taking this again in spring when I have a nice twilight sky to work with. It will be a winner then. Now it’s a vaguely interesting sketch, sorta.
