The B&W here presents a clean and beautifully detailed version of the work. The gold, for me, seems to become visually complicated and messy. However, the color version presents the faces with much more emotion and clarity. So, B&W or color is a toss-up for me. Now, what if you had the color images in the B&W shot?

I think I need to reshoot this. I didn’t get the gold right at all. Too much hot white light at the wrong angle.
