Makes me think of some of the lower case amusement parks that shut down for the winter season. In the old days they dotted the Chesapeake Bay – tacky salt water taffy, slot machines, hotdogs… they had a unique smell about them, mix of age, crab, wood – other things as well. Gosh I hadn’t thought about that in years.
