Whoa – what a series. The middle one is the least dramatic – but the art pops in that space. The top and bottom ignore the art and make the space the focus of the shot. Fantastic work Sam catching that amazing angle.

There are all kinds of shots I think I walk by without ever noticing. THIS kind of stuff, though, my brain seems to automatically seize upon.

Since I saw the wider one and can only look at the new one with a sense of claustrophobia, please let us know why you created the tighter crop? What was it meant to accomplish?

The original has some dead space top left and I wanted to see what happened if I got it out of the shot. You’re right – the crop is more claustrophobic. I like the depth and expanse of the original. But the crop is also more intense and focused, which I like, too, for different reasons.
