I love it, but what the hell is it? What’s the blue? Reflection of sky?

What you’re seeing it the purple sculpture behind the Denver Art Museum along 13th Ave. The goldish thing behind it is the DAM. And the blue up top is sky. It was one of those insanely clear blue-sky days – no clouds to work with – so I had to try and use the sky differently. As a backdrop for pure geometries, for instance.
